Anna completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Otago University in 2003.
Anna specialises in Support Needs Assessments for adults and children, and Education Based Rehabilitation Assessments.
My core purpose is the provision of quality and engaging occupational therapy assessment and intervention to infants, children, young people and their whanau/family/caregivers.
To do this :
I deliver current evidence based practice; Utilise a trauma informed child centred approach; Provide practical, sustainable, solutions and strategies.
I have a strong commitment to ongoing education in the areas of paediatrics, child trauma, sensory integration and traumatic brain injury.

I have worked in education, home, residential and community settings as a New Zealand registered occupational therapist since 2003 focusing on both paediatrics and neurology. In 2012 I won the OTNZ Achievement Award for my role in developing the successful Head Start children’s motor development programme. My current areas of special interest include children recovering from traumatic brain injury as well as children recovering from the effects of maltreatment, abuse and neglect. I have been completing adult and children’s ACC training for independence programmes, equipment assessment, support needs assessment and education based assessments since 2008. I successfully completed a routine Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand audit in 2013.
