Suzanne completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) in 1994 at AIT.
I favour a child-oriented, family-focused approach to implementing rehabilitative and preventive strategies. In order to achieve the best possible outcomes, I believe a personally-tailored programme must be integrated into the daily family life in a way that is achievable and realistic for all those involved in the care of the child.
Since graduating in 1994 with a BHSc (Physiotherapy) I have committed to ongoing professional development and have been involved in overseas training in paediatric biomechanics (Chicago), as well as a short-term sabbatical researching treatment of juvenile chronic arthritis (UK) and club foot (France). As a member of the Paediatric Special Interest Group, and Auckland Branch of the Physiotherapy Society I attend regular journal club meetings and inservices.
